Angela Lee is the Program Director and lead instructor for the Health Information Technology and Medical Coding Specialist programs at Waukesha County Technical College.  She has a bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management from UW-Milwaukee and a master’s in Adult Education from Carroll University.  Angela has over 20 years of experience preparing future HIM professionals through the Wisconsin Technical College System.  In addition, she worked as a HIM Manager for Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover NH, PEPP Auditor/Educator for the NH, ME, and VT Quality Improvement Organization, and as a Coding Manager at Froedtert Hospital through Pyramid Healthcare Solutions.   Angela’s passion for teaching dates back to her childhood, teaching her little sister math using the bathroom mirror and her mom’s eyebrow pencil. Her favorite topics to teach these days are ICD Diagnosis coding, Healthcare Statistics, and Introductory Informatics.
