Veronica Richardson earned her RHIT credential in2013 after graduating from OzarksTechnical Community College in Springfield, MO. Shewent on to obtain her Bachelor’s degreein Health Information Administration from StephensCollege in 2018 and successfully earned theRHIA credential shortly after graduation. Veronicais currently the Director of Compliance RiskManagement for Preferred Family Healthcare. Veronicaenjoys volunteering and is activelyinvolved at the regional, state and national levels.She is the Director of Public Relations for theMissouri Health Information Management Association(MoHIMA) and is currently the Presidentfor the Ozark Area Health Information Management Association(OAHIMA). Veronica has alsoserved as the State Advocacy Leader for MoHIMA, ison the MoHIMA Advocacy Committee,and serves on the Bi-State HIM Educators Council forMissouri and Kansas. Veronica is also amember of the AHIMA Communications Advisory Circle.Veronica was the 2020-2021 recipientof the MoHIMA Outstanding Volunteer award. She enjoyspublic speaking and proudly sharesher experience and knowledge by presenting at regionaland state association conferences.
