I have been in the HIM profession for 16+ years in many different capacities, from paper record construction, to production coding, CDI and for the last 10 years in leadership. I have had the absolute pleasure of working for Duke for the last 6 years, 5 years as the Inpatient Coding Operations Manager and 1 year as the Director for Hospital Coding. In my current role, I oversee all of the IP and OP Technical coding, CDI Mortality nurse reviewers and both Technical and Professional auditing teams.
