Lauren Gess is an experienced Director with expertise in business intelligence and analytics, executive dashboard creation, and revenue cycle management. Lauren began her career in consulting with Deloitte Consulting, LLP and currently works at a boutique consulting firm called Health Care Program Advisors (HCPA). With over 12 years in healthcare, Lauren has brought her provider clients valuable insight through data, helped organizations develop data transparency and accountability, and automated burdensome data processes to eliminate manual efforts. She has developed expertise in administration of cloud data infrastructures and analytics tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and Microsoft Power BI.

Lauren has a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from Temple University, where she has also served as an adjunct professor for a Healthcare Data Analytics course. She has volunteered in various committee roles for PHIMA and looks forward to further serving the industry as the incoming President!
