Kristen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from Oakland University and an Associate of Science degree in Health Information Technology from Schoolcraft College.

After graduating from Schoolcraft College in 2009 Kristen moved into HIM management.

Kristen was Operations Manager at DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan from June 2009 until August 2011 when she moved into HIM Director.

In June of 2012, Kristen moved to McLaren Oakland as HIM Director.

She then pivoted in December 2020 into the role of HIM Regional Director with McLaren Health Care.

Kristen has HIM management oversight of McLaren Oakland, Macomb, Northern, Karmanos as well as the Patient Identity Team and Transcription, and oversees ROI vendor MMRA for all McLaren locations.
