Ms. Canter has expertise in revenue cycle management, specializing in all aspects of the middle revenue cycle, revenue integrity, and quality and risk programs. Currently, she is the Director of Strategy for Optum’s Clinical Language Intelligence Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology with a focus on and passion for innovation and automation to make healthcare work better for everyone. She is an active member of AHIMA having been elected to the Commission on Certification for Health Informatics and Information Management (CCHIIM) from 2018-2021, served two terms as the President of the Lake Huron Region and is currently the second year Director on the MHIMA board.
