Dasantila Sherifi, PhD, MBA, RHIA

Tila is an assistant professor and Health Information Management program director at Rutgers University. She holds a PhD in Health Services, an MBA, and bachelor’s degrees in Health Information Administration and Marketing. Beyond 25 years of higher education teaching, her career spans roles as a hospital data and discharge analyst, a research assistant at Merck, and Director of Albania’s Small Business Assistance Center. Tila has also held numerous leadership and volunteer positions in her field, serving as SePHIMA President, PHIMA Education Committee Chair, and an AHIMA Board Director.
