Senior Research Analyst

Cristy graduated with an Associate’s degree in Health Information Management from Weber State University. She has worked for the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) for the past 18 years in the Violence and Injury Prevention Program (VIPP). Cristy works on the National Violent Death Reporting System (NVDRS) gathering violent death information for the State of Utah and is the abstraction team supervisor. Cristy also works with the Child Fatality Review project gathering law enforcement information to highlight at various State Government committee meetings as well as other various surveillance systems.
