This webinar will provide an overview of what information governance is and why it’s important to healthcare organizations. During this 60-minute session, attendees will be provided actual examples of how IG concepts and practices provide proactive, cost-effective ways to manage current challenges and opportunities.

Objectives:

  1. Review the AHIMA and ARMA definitions of Information Governance (IG)
  2. Explore healthcare transformational challenges and the importance of IG practices to address them
  3. Tie IG definitions to “connect the dots” for holistic processes that address transformational challenges using real-world examples
  4. Discuss immediate next steps to proactively and holistically manage information

Target Audience:

Healthcare professionals across hospitals, physician practices, clinics, post-acute care, insurers and vendors, including HIM, Compliance, Risk, Quality, Analytics, and Informatics
