This webinar will provide an overview of what information governance is and why it’s important to healthcare organizations. During this 60-minute session, attendees will be provided actual examples of how IG concepts and practices provide proactive, cost-effective ways to manage current challenges and opportunities.
Objectives:
- Review the AHIMA and ARMA definitions of Information Governance (IG)
- Explore healthcare transformational challenges and the importance of IG practices to address them
- Tie IG definitions to “connect the dots” for holistic processes that address transformational challenges using real-world examples
- Discuss immediate next steps to proactively and holistically manage information
