DeAnne Kribell, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P is the Contract Coding Manager at Avera Health. In this role she oversees the coding of PPS, CAH, Clinic, Long-Term Care, Home Health and Hospice coding. She has worked at Avera for the past 12 years. In the past she has also been a Director of Health Information and Performance Improvement at Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services in Viborg, SD, an inpatient and outpatient coder at Avera McKennan, and a Health Information representative at McGreevy Clinic. She has served on several positions within SDHIMA including President in 2006-2007.

DeAnne and her husband, Rob, live on an acreage near Beresford, SD and enjoy their recent empty nest stage of life by taking drives in one of their classic cars (and hoping they don’t break down because none of their kids are home anymore to rescue them!).
