This course is designed for PA trauma registrars and other trauma center staff involved in the abstraction process.

Coding recommendations made in this presentation are made by PTSF staff using standard AAAM AIS 2005 (update 2008) coding guidelines and norms, ICD-10-CM/PCS guidelines and norms, and the Tri-Code User Guide. They apply to entering injury description into Tri-Code, the DI Collector encoder, for the Pennsylvania Trauma Outcome Study.

This course is approximately 45 minutes long.
