Amy Bechtol has over 20 years of experience in higher education teaching and presenting on psychology-related topics. She has a Master in Arts in Clinical Psychology and a Master of Science in Social Psychology.

She has a particular interest in health advocacy and persuasion rooted in her study of both clinical psychology and attitude change. She currently works in the addiction and mental health recovery field assisting the faith community as they seek resources to better serve their congregations. Amy is passionate about fighting stigma, increasing compassionate empathy, and encouraging healthy conflict management.
