Overview

The impact of clinical documentation and coding has expanded as CMS and other payers shift from fee for service to value based payment models. CDI must expand and evolve as well to fully safeguard documentation and coding accuracy as these models change.

Given the industry evolution, CDI programs are moving into the physician office space and the work that needs to be completed is daunting. Attendees can benefit from listening to physician office CDI strategies from the field. Learn how to mitigate some of the challenges and barriers that others have faced. As an industry, there is lots of excitement around CDI growth and development. This session will help attendees bring strategies back to their organization to support the development or evolution of their CDI program.
