Jennifer graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Medical College of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management (HIM). She has 20+ years of experience in health information, with a diverse background in medical coding; reimbursement compliance; HIM operations; clinical documentation improvement; electronic health record (EHR) development and implementation; healthcare consulting; and client development. As a member of the Georgia Health Information Management Association (GHIMA), she has served in various board positions to include, but not limited to the following: Nominating Committee Member, Coding Roundtable Chairperson, GHIMA President/Past President, GHIMA Delegate, and Mentoring Committee Co-Chair on the 2018-2020. She is a recipient of the 2007 GHIMA Distinguished Member Award, 2012 GHIMA Distinguished Service Award, and 2014 GHIMA Mentor Award. She is an advisory board member of DeVry University – Atlanta campus, Georgia Piedmont Technical College, and Atlanta Technical College HIT programs. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, and spending time with family and friends.
