With new legislation related to Information Blocking, how does the immediate release of patient notes, laboratory results, and other electronic health record data effect the challenge of releasing of medical information?

In this webinar, we will be discussing the related challenges regarding what type of records should be released automatically to patients and how this may affect the release of information requests that our staff may receive.  We will also review decisions related to possibly not releasing information timely, related penalties and consequences.  Finally, we will open up for discussion regarding how entities are dealing with these challenges and working with different situations as they arise and any other questions people would like to discuss.
