Julie Bennett, RHIA, CHPC, CHPS

Julie Bennett, RHIA, CHPC, CHPS, is a HIPAA privacy analyst with Carle in Urbana.  Her primary responsibilities are the assessment of privacy concerns/complaints/incidents, review of business associate agreements, and HIPAA guidance/training.  Julie received her bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University in Health Information Management back in the days when the degree was called Medical Records Administration.  If she could write a coffee table book, it would be about “The Stuff You Can’t Make Up- The Best of HIPAA.”  (Knowing full well it’s “The coffee table book I can never write.”)  

Allison Slocum, JD, MHA, MGH, CHC

Allison Slocum received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas and two master degrees from ATSU school of health sciences. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law. Her practice focuses on general compliance matters including HIPAA, Stark, and Anti-kickback.
