Becky Brown, CCS
Becky has been in HIMS since 1985, starting out as a file clerk at a small hospital in central NY before moving to AZ in 1990 and starting her career at Sun Health. There she was a file clerk, release of info tech and a coder before moving into the coding manager position in 2005. As a coding manager at Banner Health, she has been involved in the reorganization of the acute care coding team. In her spare time, Becky enjoys reading, crocheting and seeing her 5 grandchildren.

Melissa Bouchikas, RHIA, CDIP, CCS
Melissa currently an Acute Care Outpatient Complex Senior Coder for Banner Health. She has been an outpatient coder for 10 years working a variety of assignments as a vendor and at local facilities. Melissa specializes in outpatient surgeries. She graduated in 2019 with her bachelor’s degree from the Health Information Management program at the College of St. Scholastica. Melissa spends her free time traveling and enjoying motherhood.

Chelsea Kemp, CCS, COC, CDEO, CRC, CEDC, CGIC
Chelsea Kemp is a Remote HIM Coding Specialist for Yavapai Regional Medical Center. She has 15 years of experience in the healthcare field, with the past 9 years coding in the Acute Care setting. Chelsea’s expertise is in Emergency Department coding and reconciling coding edits. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge with her peers and enjoys training new coders. Chelsea obtained her Medical Billing Certificate from Central Arizona College and currently is in the process of obtaining her Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology. In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys camping, hunting, and hiking with her husband Jason and their dogs, Grace and Melvin.
