Strategic thinking is essential in a rapid change environment and critical in leading a remote workforce. This presentation will discuss the challenges and successes of implementing new mission driven processes that support State and Organizational requirements amidst rapid change. Beginning with an understanding of where we are now and where we want to be in the near future, and using Kahneman’s “Thinking Fast and Slow” as a framework, participants will come away with an understanding of how people make decisions in rapidly changing environments. Best practices, learned from the front lines of the pandemic will be shared, and there will be time for questions and discussion to exchange ideas about leading and advocating in our collective new normal.
