Brandi Rogers, MBA, RHIA, CHC, CRCR

Brandi has nearly 20 years of experience in various management roles within a large multi-hospital system with oversight of multiple health information departments and extensive experience in operations over hospital coding quality, education, audits and data analytics. She currently serves as the Director of Hospital Coding Quality and Education at Advocate Health overseeing a team of 30+ highly skilled hospital coding professionals in a remote setting. Brandi played a key role in the alignment efforts of the Coding Quality department when Aurora Healthcare and Advocate Aurora aligned in 2020. Within her current role, Brandi aims to keep her team engaged in unique ways and encourages all team members to further their educational achievement through networking and continuous learning. She enjoys mentoring and prides herself on accepting new HIM students for their professional practice experiences each year. Brandi graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelors degree in Health Information Management Systems and a Masters in Business from Lakeland College. She also holds a certification in Healthcare Compliance and in Revenue Cycle. Brandi works remotely in her current role and resides in Chapel Hill, NC with her husband Peter and children, Isabella and Gabe.
