Allison Lux

Allison Lux is currently a Certified Data Abstractor at Parallon/ HCA Healthcare.  Allison started her second career as a cancer registrar with a degree in Health Information Technology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is a CTR, RHIT, and an active member of NCRA and TxTRA.  Prior to working as a cancer registrar, Allison was a therapist with experience as an assistant professor, clinic director, supervisor, small business owner, and conference presenter.  She sees herself as both a student and a teacher who is dedicated to sharing knowledge with others.  When she is not working, you can find Allison cooking, knitting, reading, walking the dogs, and serving the cats.
