Introduction to Data Analytics; Describing Data; and Hypothesis Testing
The emergence of the deadly COVID-19 virus, resulting in the current world-wide pandemic requires effective information management and accurate data reporting to enable the healthcare community’s efforts to learn as much as possible about this specific strain of coronavirus and halt the pandemic.
Prepare yourself. The nature of work is changing for almost everyone, including HIM. Attendees will learn about many of the technical and other forces shaping workplace and workforce changes, one view of how HIM will be impacted, knowledge and skills to prepare for the future, and ways in which to prepare.
This presentation will focus on how risk analysis really works, what it does and does not do, and how we each use the principles of analyzing risk in our daily lives.
This presentation will discuss data collection for population-based disease registries in Idaho: cancer; and time sensitive emergencies (trauma, stroke and ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction or STEMI). We will also discuss how these data are used in Idaho and nationally to inform public health efforts.
